A log of teas I've been drinking

I’ve been sharing tea occasionally with a classmate: sitting down together for a proper tea party over an hour or two, enjoying the tea, each other’s company, and our meandering conversations. It’s been so lovely—a really high quality time, where we can open up in our own gentle ways as the tea opens and deepens and we explore its evolution together after every steep.

An earthy, loamy tea. Like forest earth soaked in a warm rain. Warming at first taste, then a lightly cooling post-effect, after the aftertaste. All in all felt very balancing and earthy. Its depth lasted through so many steeps (~8) and it continuously darkened and deepend! For me, as a beken type, it felt both grounding and uplifting. For my friend, a loong type, it felt primarily grounding and opening.
